Wednesday 8th December - What small DFW things will you be doing today?????

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free!:money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.!
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Yay its Wednesday :j, I love Weds, after today we just roll into the weekend! Wishing everyone a happy day x

Good morning everyone. Thanks for starting the thread DNMS, you sound brighter today!
Not much going on in the world of the witch. got through to HMRC yesterday and the guy agreed I had overpaid the overpayment IYSWIM but as it wasn't yet showing on my account I need to call back at the end of the week for a refund. Its only £18.31, but it's MY £18.31.
So far today:- done nothing!
- feed and water chickens - they've not been able to free-range for a few days and are getting cabin fever!
- get a lift to and from work with a colleague
- lunch left over from yesterday as I've lost my appetite at the moment
- knit at lunchtime to avoid the shops and also to get DGD's Xmas present finished
- definate NSD

Morning All,
Thanks for starting the thread Determined – you sound a bit brighter today :T
Hello to those who have posted before and will post after me. Hi to all new posters
Today I have/will
• Checked online banking – clothing refund has gone on
• Check emails
• Dinner from storecupboard (was running late for work so went to The Golden Arches for breakfast and will buy something cheap for lunch)
• Used my rail pass to get to work
• Catch up with friends on FB rather than texting people
• Read newspaper online and get the free newspaper at the station
• Need to check out the freebies and the competition boards
• Drink 4 glasses of water at work
• LSD – went for something healthier at TGA but it was more expensive!
• Picked up chocolate from the mini snack pack before I left so I do not succumb to the vending machine when the mid morning snack attack happens!
• Enter comps online
• Washing on a quick wash 30 degrees
• Catch up with this thread when I get home (I don’t get a chance at work)
Can’t think of anything more, perhaps there will be something!
Take care everyone and have a great day, hugs to those that need them

What's up, Stitch? This credit card business?
Personally I think everyone loves home made things and I would love something you knitted or sewed as a Christmas pressie. Have you been on the OS board too? I've been loving the pressies under a fiver thread and there are generally loads of good home made ideas too... Or is it just general Christmas-time stress? That is no good. Please please promise you'll have a long bath and a big RELAX when you get home from work tonight. Don't push yourself too hard, missus.
I'm off to work now but shall be lurking and hopefully posting my list at lunchtime xxx0 -
