Swapitshop!! Discussion only.

Hi,
My son has been using swapits site for a while now, about 4 weeks ago he had to send in 9 swaps in one go. They were all confirmed as being recieved and 4 of the 9 were forwarded on to the swapper. They were all the same items and all weighed the same. I helped my son pack the items up, but now they are saying that he did not send any forwarding stamps for the other 5 parcels and we ensured they were taped in an envelope to the back of each package.
We have emailed swapits loads of times and they have not replied to any of the emails.:mad: They will not credit any of his points nor send the items on to the swappers, so he will soon get bad ratings. The points amount to 5000, so he is not very happy.
Does anyone have a phone number or any other suggestions of contacting them? My son used his pocket money to buy all the stamps and he's not going to resend them because of their mistake.
Anyone had any similar problems?

Many thanks for your quick reply, I couldn't find a number anywhere and the email address that you listed is the one we have been using, but they never reply. Will give them a ring in the morning and sort it out.:T

im just mega narked at the lack of won stuff beng sent out to us.......the amount of times i have to extend the time for the item is just a joke

Totally agree with you!, my son won some fishing gear and he never recieved it, then following that the same person was listing loads of the same fishing items I let him have some bits to swap because he's saving his swapits for an ipod, but even though they have confirmed recieving his swaps, they have denied recieving the additional postage for 5 items. I helped him pack the items to ensure he did it correctly, not a happy bunny:mad:

I agree with the above statement Swapits do not even bother getting back to you if you send a e-mail, seems to me that they do not have childrens welfare as there goal, both my kids are with swapits and i have lost count of the amount of spoof's that are put on and swapits won't do anything about it......... i just hope they read these as they need to sort there ship out.:mad:

Just an update to let you know that I sent them a not very pleasant fax this morning regarding my sons account, and I have just looked on their site and they have credited his 5000 points WooHoo!! but no apology! He will be pleased when he gets back from school!

How To Get The Free Swapits
1. Open a browser window, go to https://www.swapitshop.com and log in.
2. Right click and select 'Copy Shortcut' on the treasure hunt links above send then press go.
3. Repeat above for each hunt.

If you just 'click' the hunts they won't work. Also if you're not logged into Swapitshop.com first, they won't work.

maybe you didn't attach enough to all of them and they took stamps for the other packagfes to make up for them, also if the stams weren't fastened properly, someone in royal mail could have stolen them :!:

I have had this happen a few times where I put enough stamps on, and I phoned them about it. I put 75p on a "large letter" with 2 PS2 games. They just assumed that I didn't put enough on there, because it "seemed to cheap" :rolleyes:

Don't worry, I won a DS lite from swapitshop, and after 17 days they sent it to me...
Surprised at their "quicker than normal" service, I opened the package to find none other than "A touch of frost Seasons 6-10" boxset :mad:

Now THAT is a joke.

Swapitshop haven't been giving the best "top-notch" service recently :rolleyes:

we live kind of near to the swappits office maybe 4 or 5 miles away but whenever someone from my house sends a swap with details, they never receive it!
