I need help with my job (Council Job)

This thread may be long but i am in need off help so if anyone has any advice please help me.
I have been working for a local Council for 6 years now.
I during this time i have had tuns of problems with them, I have been under paid, over paid, not been paid at all to name but a few.
But my real problem is that i have not got a working contract and I do not know my rights after working for them for 6 years. To add to this I am not self employed. I am employed by the council.
Along with this i am not allocated any holidays or a number of days I can have as holidays. I work 7 days a week and on an average week I work 25 to 30 hours a week. I have been doing this for 6 years now.
In addition to this I do not receive any sick pay or holiday pay when I am not working but other members off staff do. I am not aloud to pay in to the council pension scheme and I do not have a union representative. If I go to my boss and complain all I am told is they can do nothing about it. That is the way it is.
I should also add in that i have to use my car during my working day and i do not recieve any expences and i also have to use my personal mobile phone.
where others recieve expences and a mobile phone
I strongly feel that I am entitled to some sick pay or holiday pay.

Even if you are not a member of a union, talk to the regional secretary for your area. They will want to hear how you are being treated. I believe it's Unison that covers public sector employees.

Student Loan - £19001.00.

When you say 'others' - are these people employed in the same job or just employed by the same people? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Your job description doesn't sound quite legal to me. I think you have to be given an employment contract within 2 months of starting a job. I am sure that if you contact acas.org.uk then they'll be able to offer some advice.
Definitely get a union rep though. I think the PCS union can offer support to public workers.
All the best,0 -
surely the council has an HR dept - have you been in touch with them?Signature removed for peace of mind0

Are you employed or self-employed? I have done some sports coaching myself and it's always been on a self-employed basis.
Apologies - just read that you are employed, not self-employed. Are you employed on a contractor basis?0
