    Yes, some people's whole livelihood depends on eBay/Paypal.

    I agree, a cause is a cause if you feel strongly enough about it (I don't) but some people don't really have a choice.

    Paypal are a very small player in this. I would be far more concerned that three elected governments seem to be hell bent on using any means to ruin this guy. Could be you or me next. 1984 was not fiction.

    I was reading some of the press coverage and the 'story' certainly has a very odd ring to it.

    Incidentally someone is now claiming to have hacked Mastercard due to them refusing to fund the site as well.

    It was fiction, sadly governments see it as a how to manual.

    Apparently they arent hacking Mastercard, Visa or Paypal. They're just sending thousands, maybe millions of register requests and its freezing the sites.

    Something like that anyway, saw it on the news last night

    It's a ddos, a fairly low tech form of attack. No lasting damage, but fairly effective in real time.
