I need to replace a baterry, its an obscure one, its in the car fob of my old Mazda MX5. Its a 12V 593-697 alkaline (brand is RS). I was wondering if I could replace this with a regular A23 12V one, such as an engergizer or supermarket brand?
Thanks in advance.

If it's physically the same size, and also the same voltage, then go for it, it'll be fine!

The RS part number is equivalent to the duracell MN21, equivalent to the A23.
So anyones will be ok.0 -
