Links on Emails

Please can one of you clever people help me.!!

When I receive an email that has a link on it they are suddenly not live.Have I touched something I shouldn't? The message say's click on the link or paste in your browser. How do I paste in browser? As you can see please make it simple as I am not very technically minded.

    try right clicking the link and select copy link (or similar).
    By the way outlook express is quite out of date now. Try downloading "Mail" which is part of the windows live bundle of software (msn, etc).
