De Vere Hotel Email

Not sure whether to be annoyed or not.
I recieved an email from De vere offering a winter deal, by the time I read my emails I had one around 30 mins after the first one withdrawing the offer. Strange I thought. But then I realised on both emails it shows everyone they have emailed the same message, which means hundreds of people will have my email address. Don't think much can be done with it apart from getting loads of spam if the wrong sort of person decides to use the information, can it??

Amazing how many companies and organisations sending mass emails can't be bothered to teach their staff how to use the Bcc function available on all email clients. It is just laziness and poor practice and as op said may well lead to misuse of email accounts. If you can be bothered a sarky reply to De Vere might be in order.
