Grrrr didn't exchange today :(

due to the temp being -5 and the sellers solicitors not having heating in the building.

Last Friday it was because they were suffering with the snow.

I know! I mean what's wrong with putting a scarf on and getting on with it?

Fingers crossed it will be tomorrow - we are still looking to complete on Friday. I will be a very unhappy bunny if we don't exchange tomorrow.

For the prices solicitors charge they could afford to heat the offices with piles of £10 notes in the fire.

Exchange takes place over the telephone. Are they claiming that they don't have home phones that they can use?!

Tell the Estate Agent to drive the solicitor in to his office. EAs get paid for more for doing far less!
  • OMG - where are they - Scotland??? Surely there is a working from home possibility? What happens if someone is completing - they can't just not be there!

This is disgusting behaviour. They could put electric heaters and claim costs back on their taxes no problem.
