OK, sorry to post again but I've now set up/decided to put all the new savings I make starting this year into an account I had dormant. It already had £1 in it to keep it open so I have put the interest from my account in there and have £41!! It is at a nothing rate though so come Feb I will be looking for a better home for it (try to get another vantage acount probs) don't think it really matters if I earn 1% or 10% on £41 for now though!!!

    Days Four, Five & Six

Three days bunched into one and not very productive either. DH came down with a really nasty stomach bug so we've been having a bit of a nightmare. So far i've avoided coming fully out with it, but my
    tummy feels dicky! :(

    So, money!

    £1.20 cloth nappy wash.

Ebay items on about £10 with 3 days left and ive added some books and taken photos for more listings of kids clothes and girly nappy wraps.

I'm considering going through some free bingo sites, but i don't have time during the day at the moment and i'm guessing that's the best time to play?

We have changed gas & electric suppliers getting £30 cashback and saving about £140 a year once that kicks in.

EMminently, i think you would be surprised at what sells on ebay. You could at least go through your wardrobe and set aside those clothes you haven't worn in a while. Or any old books or CDs? They might not go for much unless thy're newer or rare, but it's a start!

heretolearn, you got some great bargains there! I hoe it works out for you!

    skint-student-nurse, £293!! Amazing!!

princessfi, that's an awesome result!! You're well on your way now!

Everyone seems to be doing so well! So much enthusiasm here, it's brilliant!

Chin up to those who are finding it a little hard right now. Remember the power of positive thinking, and also don't forget that if you weren't in this challenge at all you would be worse off! At the very least it is making you pay attention to what you're spending and saving. :D

Wd lol, which site do you use? I will do Costa but only when I can be online most of the day to take full advantage :j

Nothing to add to my total at all yet, but I have cash winging it's way to me. Don't want to add it until it is real!

Hello! Well I wrote to the trainline because they messed up my ticket before Christmas so they are refunding £14.60 onto my card. As soon as I get it I'll be able to add it to my total!! YAY! I also went to ASDA to do my weekly shop, only spent £25 so that's fab! Have mealplanned for the next few weeks so should be able to avaiod shopping too much apart from milk etc.
I also bought 2 lovely necklaces, 2 pairs earing, sparkly hairclips and a bangle in ASDA for my sister at Chistmas (girly hamper!) for £4 and should have cost £20!!! Not adding this saving to my total as onlt conting money paid off my debts but great start for Christmas next year. I'm very chuffed x
Everyone's doing great so far. Keep up the good work x
