Hello everyone.

I'm new to the idea of setting a money-making target and I'm very apprehensive about it. How well have others done this year?

i know early and still 2010, but have received a cheque for £237 from the lovely tax man/woman so I think I am going to start with that and open a brand new saving account with it

Big dipper. I think we have had a full range of people making from very little to around 7k.
I haven't heard of anyone who is worse off for doing the challenge :-).
Most of the people still on the thread from this year have gained all sorts of other positives from it and have found it very rewarding in many ways.
Hope you get as much out of the 2011 challenge as I have out of the 2010 one but do beware there may be some craziness along the way.
We can also sometimes seem off topic but have found it helps morale and has actually sparked moneymaking ideas that would never have come up otherwise.

Just from your words there im feeling very positive about 2011 and the challange ahead, i just hope for once i will be able to keep to a task and not give up within 10 minutes, gonna try my best to stick at it and hopefully see the benefits of this

Thanks Jo, I am determined that I am going to do well at this challenge.

I have sold quite a lot to things on ebay over the last couple of weeks so need to root around the house for more of my unwanted stuff and will attempt to list at least one item on ebay per day

I would to have a go at this. I have loan of 15k :eek: and I'd love to make a large dent in it! No idea where to start other than ebaying stuff... which I am ok at doing when I give myself a kick up the bum!

To all the new peeps joining this year remember you dont have to hit your target you only need to aim for it. As even if you dont hit it you will be in a better place in 12 months time than you are now.

I bet there are 1000s and 1000s reading all about what you all are upto. Most of them will be thinking i wish i could do what they are doing, I could never do what they are doing, I could never cope with what they are going through. The list goes on and on.

I have posted on your threds before. In the early weeks when you all started i made a few posts. Just posts wishing you all luck and that sort of thing.

To anybody that has been following this thred or just reading off and on if you dont think that you have what it takes to do this sort of thing then join in you have what it takes!!
The trick is you set goals and then break the goles down into smaller goles and you aim for them. Be it weekley monthy.

Rember if you aim at nothing you will hit it every time.
