Elly, I'll be qualified at NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social care. Apparently there are loads of care jobs around so hopefully it will be easy to get another job? (Although whilst I can afford to be, I will be quite specific as to which care job I take - I don't want to do going to peoples houses care because I've heard the companies arent' V nice. And I'm also looking for set hours as opposed to shift work because I'm a bit OCD and I've tried it before and I just get worked up into a state).
Woop woop! Exciting times, I'm £11.78 off of half way to £11k! I haven't updated my sig yet though because I'm still waiting for a payment to go into my bank, so as soon as that clears, that will be my monthly update! Yay! I'm so proud.0 -
fredula i would also look at phlebotomy and local doctors they often look for care assistants and the hours tend to be pretty much 9-5 although can often be part time .they also use care assistants in endoscopy and outpatients these are regular hours as well food for thought as they say .

Hi Everybody
Just a quick update. Made £20 on ebay over the weekend so need to add that to my total.
I have also sent a letter to tax office with regards to claiming back the uniform allowance for my hubby for the past six years. So will wait and see what happens with that.
What next I am going to have to come up with some other ideas over the next few days

I did ok with ebay over the weekend. Sold my wedding dress for £40 and my son's old bike for £12.50, a couple of Pirattes of the Caribbean dressing up outfits & a couple of items of clothing so £54.83 which includes ebay fees but haven't yet calculated paypal fees. I don't think I would make a very good sales person. The lady who bought the wedding dress commented on what good condition it was in despite being 17 years old and without thinking I said "yes, it lasted much longer than the marriage!". Presumably she didn't see that as a bad omen as she still bought it.
I really can't think ogf anything else to sell now on ebay that hasn't already been listed several times before but I will keep relisting. It took 3 attempts on the w/dress.
I also won £12.69 on bingo last night so that takes my total so far for the year to £1759.11 plus still have OH's over time to include but he hasn't received his pay slip yet. (Also included £12 Mr T vouchers that I received a couple of weeks ago that I forgot to include on the totals here.)Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0 -
