  • hello

i plan my shop before i go, using a spreadsheet to make sure i dont exceed the £20 cap.

i compare stuff i would usually buy (and some i dont:D)

for example i have totally b******d my dont buy any toiletries pledge !!

herbal essenses for example is £2 in Asda and £3.23 in Tesco so you are gettng it for about 70p.

Heinz Fridge pack of beans £1 (A) £1.78 (T) so again its next to nothing.

a good one is Pear Magners which is £1.24 in Asda and £2.04 in Tesco.

you just have to check everything you are going to buy on both sites before you go.

    simples :p

    Morning All!

What a shame for Mr Tesco eh?! Am just about to check my shopping receipt from last week, havent "actively" selected any dtd's yet but will from now on.
So is it just £20 max per month now or still £100 as it states on the web??

Quick sig update to reflect a refund of £20.05 from Npower from overcharges in 2007 and my monthly £150 into savings.

Have a wonderful, prosperous weekend everyone! xx

hi lea think its 5 x 20 reciepts if you see what i mean so you can accumulate over the month .i dont normally shop at tesco but i'm away to get bulmers box of 10 £10 asda 11.99 tesco so with £4 back that goes down to £8 Smirnoff 1l 13.99 asda 20.99 tesco so £14 back so will cost £7 a bottle and Baileys roughly the same as smirnoff . that will be my drinks cabinet stocked back up lol

I would love to shop more often in ASDA but our nearest is just too far to drive to, so it isn't worthwhile & we don't shop online..shame really!
