wow cornish farmer that sounds good! What sort of age are the students? are they generally here for language courses?
  • Hello tinkerbel
From what i can gather they are around senior school age. We pick them up every evening and give them a meal etc, then after breakfast drop them off to a set pick-up point with a packed lunch to join the rest of their group. We don't see them until the evening. I think it is more of a holiday as they go off on day trips with their coach to local places of interest, shopping and sightseeing. They are supposed to practise their English though!

  • Hey guys,

It's my first post on the forum, but I just had to register when I saw this post. I can't resist a money making challenge, so I'm in. I've already made some money last month, but I'll start from 0 today!
  • Hi all. Just wondered if anyone had tried bingoport? I read about it on the Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas & all occassions 2011 thread. You earn points which can be redeemed for Amazon e-vouchers. It's a free bingo site and it seems people are managing to earn regularly. There is also a forum, which earns extra points when you post, but I haven't worked out how to do that yet! Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

  • Hi guys,

Just a quick update, got bids on all 4 of my ebay listings, but having to share profits with DS as they are his games lol got tons more to list though so we should be totally on track for the rest of the month. 2 and a half weeks til payday, still over 1k in the bank with a couple of weekly payments still o come so I am confident that we will have a grand to put into the savings this month!!

I have ended up confusing myself though with adding money to the tally that hasnt gone anywhere yet, I am soooo confused lol but I think that it is accurate. The £1k that I will be paying in will be including savings from other stuff and challenges that I am doing so should all add up. As long as the account is moving in the right direction I don't really mind if my pennies are a bit off kilter!

Any idea how I find a paricular post of mine? I cant remember if I have added my overtime from last month onto my total or if I decided to wait until I actually put it in the bank at the end of this month!!

    GOTL x

Hey Wilf - your total is fab! Expect ups and downs with your enthusiasm. Take that as a given and do what you need to do anyway. You don't have to be enthusiastic about toothbrusihing or laundry to do it. you just need to do it.
Your enthusiasm will return - why not just do stuff in the meantime.
Look at your total. You are well on your way. Think again about what it will mean to you to have that cash. What are your plans for it. What freedoms will it give you. How will that feel.
Record keeping is just part of the deal of getting those things. Part of the price you pay in terms of your time in order to get the money and the things you want to do with the money.
Is a bit of record keeping a reasonable part of the deal. Thats up to you to decide. How much do you want those things.
Is there an easier quicker way to keep records. Do they need to be as detailed.
Is it any easier with this HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE KIIIIIIIICCCCCKKK UUUUUUPPP THE A**E!!!!!
