Great biscuits Moonpixie. Hope you make lots of money! :T

Just been catching up with everyone - all seems to be going well and very inspirational. Thanks to Elly for setting us up. there must be quite a few in thread now and it's only January. Can't wait till car booty time comes around.

Thinking about Monpixie and her success with the Valentine theme I wondered about money making ideas for other upcoming festivities. like mothersday and easter. Any crafty ideas we could all share?

Also wanted to say well done to Twinkelkate with her first mystery shop. Keep at it you won't feel so nervous as you go along. I did a restaurant shop last night and was able to treat a friend. So I'm adding the funds to my cash amount thats £33 back in the pot for me and a total of £785.11.

All the best for the weekend.

  • Yay for this challenge! It is just what I need.

I want to raise this amount this year as we have some credit card debt and need to get our finances sorted by Christmas!

I am lucky as my husband has a relatively new business and we don't rely on it for day to day living, so we can use most of his income to put into this fund. Have already put in £800 for January.

We are on a huge economy drive this year: cutting down on food shopping-lots of Tesco Value stuff! Any miscellaneous purchases we are going to try and raise the money by selling stuff etc so the purchase is money neutral. No holidays this year either!

Payday on Monday :j so I cant put more cash into the savings.

Nearly time to go to work :(. Only 8 till 12.30 so shouldnt be too bad.

I've also decided that I'm going to (attempt to) run to Edinburgh half marathon in April. I suppose I better start making use of that gym membership then (actually went last night AND this morning!! also planning to go Sat and Sun)

eBay items end tomorrow - yay!

Welcome to the challenge :D 'tis the place to be!

Well, no update for me (no surprises there!) However I did buy two bottles of wine which were on offer - 2 bottles for £8, 1 bottle of the same wine (in the same shop) was £9.49! P*$%ed up logic!
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
  • Hi all

I have been reading through these posts with great interest! :D

I would like the challenge of earning extra cash......but I don't know where to start? I have read several posts re Mystery Shopper. How do you become one of those?????

I have sold items on Ebay in the past, but I found that the more I sold, the more Ebay and Paypal took off me

Any other suggestions you can pass on to earn a little more cash?

    Many thanks
