Well I didn't think I would sell any of my listed stuff on ebay, but 3 have sold at the last minute so that's cheered me up as I'd given up hope = almost. Not great amounts but better than a poke in the eye & it was stuff that is clutter.

I've blocked emails from a few opinion polls as I never got accepted after spending ages filling in their questionaires & then it coming up that I wasn't what they were looking for this time. They just wound me up - so no point in that. I also noticed that after filling one in I'd get loads & loads of spam emails, so another reason for me to knock that one on the head.

Debating about getting rid of our Sky package (chepaest one) & going for freeview - that would save money in the long run.
  • Daniel, thats pretty much what i did a couple of years ago! OH and I played a few of the big name bingo sites and kept winning around £40-£100 and if we re-deposited to that account,we didnt win anything, not even on the 10p scratchies/slots :S

Its just a total scam and something should be done about it really. I shouldnt complain as I benefited from it but the poor folks who play this with their hard earned cash each day are just being robbed.
  • Nothing going on the mystery shops but there is cashback tracking for DS's xbox. As soon as that is tracked it's getting added! Should be about £1.50 by my calculations!

Still no payslips to add last months overtime on. OH is doing 4 hours this week, but that will count next month after it has been paid (should be about £45 after tax)

    GOTL x
Wedding, CC and Loan by May2012 Target - £35 a day
    Starting 21/01/11 Total so far added to savings - £2316.15 (£82 a day) :j
    #1280 sealed pot - £58.57 £11k in 2011 - £981.10/£11,000
  • I wouldnt mind getting involved in this, the sooner I can clear some of my debts the better really.

I've read before about being paid to type? Typing is one of my strong points, 80wpm or something due to working in IT for so many years, so can anyone recommend any websites/places to look for that?

Also, whats everyones opinion on selling things on ebay like this -

    http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=matthew1917&&iid=180614045845&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller

Seemingly perfectly legal to do it, and all people are paying for is a word document that you email them, with the information just being if your friend pays for sky, you can use their sky player login on the xbox to watch sky, and its completely legal to do so.

Morally wrong maybe? I suppose if people are willing to pay 2.99 for that its their choice, but the guy has sold about 10-15 at 2.99 each, and has 98% positive feedback so hasnt had complaints about it.
  • ok, so I have to add 10pound pertrol rebate and 141.19 from free bingo :) . I have a mystery shopper payment coming through but will add when it hits account. Waiting for 3 surveys to confirm so then I get 10pound amazon voucher from Valued Opinions. Today going to play city bingo and hoping to win enough to pay phone bill. Off on holiday next week so not much money saving there!
    Make £10 a day Dec 2016 £130.52/£310

You cannot just email a document to a buyer. Its against ebays t&cs and technically the buyer can raise an INR claim, as there would be no proof of posting.

He states in his listing that he will email a word document, that you are bidding on a word document, and his postage is listed as 'collection in person'.

I think you can email a document but only under a certain category
. I think it's information service or something like that

If you are planning on doing something like that, its aways better to get the topper-range model ie the Zetec S, as you can sell the body kit parts for quite a bit... Base model's are harder to sell bits... If you are thinking about this its kinda hard to keep track of what your making/selling, as sales usually come in dribs and drabs, and you will only truly know what you have made if you put all the money into a pot. You'll also be left with a load of plastic trims and bits people don't buy... I have done this, and have a shed full of parts i cannot get rid of.
