  • Morning All,
I think I have had a bit of a lazy start to week as the shooting over the weekend took it out of me. By that I mean photography shooting not any Scarface Al Pacino Mobster style shooting. So, it is like the first part of the week became my weekend by default. I am picking up the pace again though!!!

Have a bundle of things to work through on my to-do list with regards to getting my shop sorted. I think I mentioned that I was happy with the photography that I took, so what I will be doing is reshooting the whole shebang again. I bought some backdrops for £13.75 and I know that these will look massively better than what I had previously picked.

I have a few quotes for client projects that I have to work on but I have had a bundle of enquiries this month which is good news. I am getting a bit desperate about finishing the shop now, but then being a perfectionist has a few drawbacks.

I have a client meeting tonight to finish up a graphic design project that should be another £200 in the kitty when I get paid for that. Plus £3.99 this week with adsense on the blog!
So, I have made a to-do list and I am ready to get cracking on with the day!

So glad everyone is still going strong! Have a money making and happy day everybody!!!

About a week in and this money making malarky isn't as easy as it first seems!

I've set up a shiny excess income spreadsheet to help me keep track of what I'm expecting in, where money has come from etc. Basically for my own reference and should I end up needing to pay tax on MS income. Mmmmm shiny spreadsheets.

Quidco account now has £75 in it waiting to be validated. Had to send some documents to one of the gambling sites to prove my age, punishment for using a debit card I say. Also made £15 from matched betting. My weekend will be spent joining casino and bingo sites for cashback rewards, looking at the number on Quidco I could make between £200-£400 on sign up bonuses alone, and setting up ebay listings.

I've been doing as many surveys as possible but I seem to fall into the "we're not interested category", panelbase has even dried up. I have had quite a bit of luck on Toluna (sp?) as they seem to gear a lot of surveys at younger people and don't seem to require that you pay utlities, own your home etc, got half way to the 80,000 points for a £15 voucher. Also did my first mystery shop yesterday (free pizza just seems to taste better) will write that up in my lunch break or tonight. Bonus info, paid off the last of my CC!

I'll do a proper count up of my earnings so far (not including cashback, surveys of MS until validated and in my account) this weekend and add it to my sig. I'm not doing as well as some people (all of you guys are money making magicians!) but I'm very happy with the progress I'm making. It only remains to say bravo to everyone in the thread, I'm no expert but I think we're all doing great.

Morning. Been to the doctors this morning and he signed me off work until Wednesday. Quite glad as I feel like ive been hit by a bus :(.

No surveys on onepoll this morning ... yet. Managed to put some more pennies in the piggy last night too. Will probably set about listing stuff on eBay today/tomorrow.

  • Morning all, quite excited by hopefully making a big dent in this during the next few months.

To an extent, I've re-evaluated my aims. 11k is still the ultimate dream but I've plummed for 3.5k as a semi-realistic attempt. My thinking being that earning that amount, plus selling my car could leave me with just one year left of loan to pay before being debt free. Therefore, technically I could be clear by roughly this time next year. I could happily live with that so I'm plumping for that as my ultimate aim.

I'm about to (hopefully) earn £17-£23 through doing two credit checks through topcashback and some great people are referring me to bingo sites, dooyoo and valued opinions. I'm also going to look through topcashback and see what else I can earn. There is still the matter of putting up my CD collection onto ebay at some point too.

everyone does it differently and thats fine. we all had slightly different ways of calculating it last year but we didn't fall out and we weren't in competition.
So just do what works for you.

ok that makes sense - so I am going to count money saved BUT ONLY if it goes as an additional payment off my debts...I think thats fair enough and I'll add it on a monthly basis. If it disappears into the overdraft abyss its not counted. I could ditch the monthly payment to weightwatchers too I guess...I'll think about that one.

I've joined onepoll and costabingo, but haven't put any money into costabingo as am a bit wary of it....

  • I've got some stock I could sell. My website hosting has come up for renewal (£90)and things are quite tight so I don't know what to do about that.....I haven't really marketed it that well and sales probably equal running costs (so pretty low). Also to keep the site fresh I have to buy in more stock which is just not an option anytime soon. I do have some dropship items on there too. Am thinking about doing some local markets and padding it out with my hand made stuff.
