  • well i sorted some stuff for ebay and have only had 1 bid. got a few days left though but not looking too good!

i wouldnt worry about the lack of bids as most bids take place in the last few mins of the listing! ive had things stay at 99p and then go for nearly £20 in the last 5 mins. Lots of sniping goes on in the last 5 mins and people use automated bidding programs to try and outbid other bidders.
hope you make some good money!

Yesturday I had to buy a new washing machine .
I visited the local charity shop and got lots of cheap wool
for my crocheting. My daughters friends liked the hats I have made, they all said they would buy one if I sold them :).
I also visited the local charity shop and got lots of cheap wool.

A lady in the shop asked me if I could repair a couple of necklaces for her and a friend of hers needs some repaired too!

Have a good money making day everyone.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

RE are okay, you can use them to get experience but they are probably one of the lowest paid out there. I like GfK and ABA-i. If you want online work Edigital is good, they are recruiting at the moment too. It takes a little while to apply but it is flexible. The only company I personally had a problem with on the Mystery Shopping thread was BARE. They made me wait ages for my money so I don't do their work now. The thread is good though and everyone has different favourite firms. :D

I agree Retail Eyes is good and one of the best, easiest and most wide ranging to do. Payments are low compared to some but jobs are more regular

I've not signed up for any mystery shopping before but an online version of this sounds interesting. Sorry to ask what may be a silly question but in the case of online shopping do you get asked to buy something in particular, which they reimburse you for or is it a case of just shopping online when you need something yourself and they then pay you for your review afterwards?

Rachel, if you could explain the ABA-i website to me I'd love you forever. I've got a bunch of clients on there, click through to my area but have never had an available assignment, even though most of the stores that ABA-i work for are based in my area. Am I doing something wrong?

The jobs are just probably going quickly I'm afraid. Some of them are popular. Do you get email alerts from them? Also there is a mystery shopping thread that has alerts when jobs are available, if you subscribe to that on the up your income board it will give you a heads up when jobs have been released :D

Sometimes you can buy goods to assess the service, but you only get a contribution towards the cost so yes it is a case of applying for shops you are interested in buying from. Not very cost effective as I usually end up spending more than the fee :D But you can assess other shops without buying anything. Some of the questionnaires are long to be honest, but if you want some flexible work it is not bad.

  • I'd love to join this please!

I've made it my mission to make as much extra cash as possible this year and have already started with matched betting.

It'd keep me much more motivated to read about everyone else's success too!:j
