Urgh, I'm now positive I'm coming down with the flu :(. Joints are aching and I feel like I've been hit with a bus.

Was working earlier, phone lines were meant to shut at 4pm, they were still open at 4.15. 25 calls waiting . Built up a little flexi time tho.

So tired and was not happy to wake up this morning and find about 3cm of snow!! I must have been one of the first on the roads as they were untouched!! This mornings journey had a few '' moments!

Not made any cash yet today and I think it will be an early night. eBay tomorrow tho!

Off to read back the posts.

woo hoo now have two collectors bidding on my ebay item, they've both paid good prices in past, fingers crossed. Now worried that reserve price is either too high or too low, been hard to get idea of exact value. Ah well, if I've priced them out I suppose I can contact them afterwards, and if they go over the reserve then that's not a problem, is it. Quite exciting - but I've got another 9 days to watch all these!
Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

    Hi everyone

Great reading the posts. Can't believe Danielfull's mystery shop - I only seem to get the £5 jobs. Spent the day in the attaic nd have listed some books on Amazon and have a bit of a stash for Ebay but no real cash yet. Still all good. Keep up the good work.

Hey everyone. I'm just wondering, having put most of my high priced items up on ebay already I have found one that is different.
I have this Rosetta Stone language Cd-rom but it has a lot of scratches on it. It does work though. Also there is no packaging. Is the scratching and lack of original packaging liable to put people off?

    Would it put you off?

  • Morning all! Day 8

Well just got back from a mystery shopping run to a local town which has earned me £77.75 for a couple of hours work which is great going. Really gave a boost to my total and brings my in line with where I wanna be each week.

Just going to have a browse round the web for a bit and have a good drink tonight after a much deserved hard week working both my job and earning some extra income.

Got a few in the pipeline for next week too so my steady flow on extar income should keep going!

Over the moon with the challenge so far

Well done on the ms. How did you manage this. Like most people I only get £5 for each one
  • well, the car is all loaded up ready for the boot sale tomorrow and there is still room in the car for more :j

ive got more listed on ebay so fingers crossed they sell. Ive decided to clear out MIL's garage on monday/tuesday so we will no doubt have more junk to sell on. Our huge sealed tin is nearly full already  :D i found my old passbook from my bank so i will get that updated on monday and see whats in there!

so excited,i cant believe how many different ways there are at making money! thanks for the ideas all! :)

It wouldn't totally put me off if I was reassured by the wording that although it's scratched it still works perfectly. I would expect it to be a bargain though as i'd personally worry that it might not have much life left in it and as it's a language CD-rom (I think?) i'd expect to be using it lots. Just my personal view :)
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D
