    Nosing well under way!

Biggest pain in the backside is all the walls in the house have been painted with vinyl silk - can't stand the stuff..........

Oh well, here we go again - scraper and heat gun at the ready.

Our surveyor came back with loads of damp issues on our victorian house, even got a separate survey done by a damp specialist, who, of course, recommended loads of work. What no-one thought about doing was looking to see what was causing the problem, they just wanted to fix it.

We found out the mains water pipe (lead) was leaking along one of the walls, the downstairs toilet cistern was overflowing down the wall, the dishwasher was leaking, wooden french door frame was rotten at the bottom, plus the heating was rarely put on to make matters worse. Now its all fixed and no damp work required.
