Wireless router recommendations?

I've just received my new Acer laptop and need to get a wireless router so i can share my Tiscali broadband between my main PC and the Laptop.
Does anyone have any recommendations or advice for a cheapish wireless router, and anything else I might need?

Any help would be much appreciated

if it is an adsl connection i would recommend the netgear dg834g (they have the picture of the v1 but when i ordered it i got the white v3)

Is it pretty much a case of doing away with my adsl modem, and plugging the wireless router into the ethernet card on my pc?

yes with the netgear because it has an inbuilt modem

No it is not look again - the linksys is not the safecomm.

I had to double check too

ebuyer has 128 of the linksys routers but is says stock overdue on the safecom page

I have had the v2 of the netgear dg834g for a couple of years and never had any problems.
