  • I just received the following from Sainsbury's Entertainment:

    We are contacting you in relation to your recent order placed with
    Sainsbury’s Entertainment Website. After you placed this order, you will
    have received an automated email confirming that this order has been
    cancelled. I am so sorry we‘ve had to do this.

    We experienced a software error that was immediately rectified once
    discovered. The problem has meant a number of products became live on our
    website by mistake. We removed these products from the website as soon as
    we realised what had happened. Many of these products are not available
    from our suppliers so we are unable to provide them for you

    On behalf of everyone at Sainsbury's Entertainment, I would like to, once
    again, apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused. As a gesture
    of goodwill and for any disappointment caused we have made an e-voucher
    available to the value of £5.00 which will be valid on the Sainsbury's
    Entertainment website through to 31 December 2011.


    I'm not sure if everyone will receive this because I did send a complaint. Still, I'm pleased to see them owning up to their mistake, giving a clear reason why it happened and offering goodwill vouchers to make up for it.

    I got that email last night too, 5 days after they cancelled my All Stars Game.....

    Wont be using them again....

    bit cheeky....but can you post the code on the voucher board?? will it work for other people?

  • I had that email too. The code is a 'Unique' one, so can't be used by anyone else, or at least can only be used once.

    :( was worth a try. but i guess glitches on these type of codes can happen aswell. so if anyone can use it twice on seperate/new accounts then please post the code! :)

    I had my 3 games cancelled. I didn't complain but got the email with the £5 off code today
