Thanks again, if I spy anything on offer, I shall come back and update
Cheers, QoC

Coop has them £8/kg, plenty in stock in my local, but expect they will disappear quickly over next few days. I don't have the guts to wait til Christmas Eve hoping for price reduction. I'm too worried about them running out!0

I got a fresh turkey butterfly breast from Makro today 4.19 kilos for £18 think its £4.49 per kilo.
They also had smaller ones for £10 for 2 kilos. Not sure how this compares but we had one last year and everyone enjoyed it.
I actally got it quite reduced last year at last minute, but couldn't risk it this year.0 -
Got a fresh crown at Sainsbury's today at £7.99 a kilo - they had all sizes from about £10 up to over £23 (in the chiller section I looked at). I had tried our local market first - smallest was over £18, then a local deli where they seemed to start at over £20, all for the same sort of size, so I was pleased with my £13 one which will feed two of us, (and the cat!), for a few days. And if we get bored with roast turkey I'll do my usual thing of freezing slices of it in gravy, to be brought out in January or February.0
