                    hi,
in june my minimum payment was due to come out on the 28th but was declined on insufficient funds (correct) i realised rang the following day and paid still within the min payment date.
so for the following month they said they we will set up a new DD but would i pay over the phone as they were not convinced the DD would be set up in time i paid over the phone no problem
the following month again the DD all set up failed to take any money out of my account so they hounded me for a payment (whilst away abroad on hols) i paid over the phone explaining there was a DD set up blah blah they said my bank declined the payment.
there was ample money in the bank so it should not of been declined so i rang my bank (halifax) they said the last payment that was requested by barclaycard was in june (the 1st paragraph)
so i rang barclaycard by this time there was a late payment on my credit file and to honour there mistake they said they cant do it only the head office could
so i sent a letter of to the head office 2 months ago and still not heard anything i am considering sending another one as well now
any advice

            write again send registered post and request they reply within 7 days0

            well after several letters to different locations i finally got a reply which said they would look into the problem and would let me know with in 30days then recieved a letter saying they declined my application so then i rang them and explained the situation and the lady completely understood my issue but she said her boss only is in 3 half days a week lol and she would be in touch
 well she did get in touch after a few weeks by letter with news that they rectified my credit file and awarded me £20 for my troubles and a further £20 towards my mobile bill for all the calls that i made
 so after nearly 9month its finally over lolwish i didnt have a life yrs ago!! i wouldnt have been this poor0
