Debenhams rant!!!!!!!!!

Here goes - ordered 6 chargers from Debenhams in their 20% off sale and used code for free delivery - so worked out at £2.18 each...... good value I thought.

Delivery day duly arrives - I get 6 individually wrapped and packed packages. On opening no protection for these plates but a plastic bag - thus 4 out of the 6 were broken - granted they are no glass but a hard plastic.... and would have warranted some sort of packaging.

No wonder companys do struggle - this was so daft - 6 poorly packaged plates and all in individual parcels - absolutely senseless.

Thank you for listening ....... feel better for sharing!!

Sorry you said they were chargers and then you said they were plates - Am I missing something?

I do agree things should be better packaged though :)

Chargers are a type of table setting, plate shaped that you put your normal plate on to save marking the table

Not electrical chargers as you'd originally think when reading the OP's post if you'd never heard of the other type

oops - sorry should have been clearer. They are nice large red plates that stay on the table and then present each dinner plate onto it - kinda looks nice but decoration only .....

    continuation of my rant
got email from Debenhams to review the order i had placed for the chargers (plates :))
So gave a truthful review of how the two plates that were not broken were lovely and covered the fact that they came in 6 separate parcels etc. Surprise surprise the review was rejected. So there you go - we cant trust any review on their site if they reject the negative ones. Kinda defeats the purpose if they cant put on the negatives as well as the positives. I did give the actual item itself full stars and positive remarks about the unbroken ones............
