6 weeks later still not got new owner docs?

Hi there
I purchased a car 6 weeks ago and still have not received the new documents stating that I am the owner.

I have checked online and it advises that it can take up to 6 weeks. Just posting though to see if anyone else has ever had a similair problem to this?

Plan to call later today when I get a chance

I have waited a few months on car documents before, just give them a call in a week or so if you still havent got them...may be something to do with the weather - I havent had post for around a week

took 3 weeks in total.

I bought my car from local dealer and they gave me all papers so i sent mine with my detail and recorded delivery and didn't receive back until 2 months so i gave a call to DVLA and they said they didn't received any docs for my car and ask me to send small green part which i kept it. next morning i recived docs with my detail and they were issued 4 days ago.:)

Mine took 8 weeks when I bought my car in June this year...
