THis is a crazy way to manage your money,

look how much is left and spend it.

Why not budget properly and plan what you want to spend your income on in advance and just spend those planed amounts.

I completely disagree - sometimes it can be simpler to sit down at the start of the month, work out what bills you will need to pay out during the month and transfer that amount to your 'bills account'. Then you know that your remaining balance is a 'true' balance that you can spend knowing that everything else is accounted for.
