Q.My GO910/710/510 mount is slowly drooping down while driving, causing the device to end up resting on the dashboard, particularly in warm weather. What causes this and how can it be corrected?
A.TomTom has determined that a limited number of windscreen dock included with the initial shipments of the TomTom GO 910, TomTom GO 710 and TomTom GO 510 do not perform to the standards we set for our products. These mounts can result in a loose power connection or in the device drooping. As a customer-oriented organisation, we take feedback from our customers very seriously. As a result, we have made a number of modifications to the windscreen dock to make sure it lives up to customers’ expectations. Any customers experiencing difficulties with their windscreen dock can order an optimised windscreen dock free of charge (no shipping costs) via https://www.tomtom.com/newdock. They will be asked to enter the serial number of the TomTom GO device and a shipping address. TomTom will ship a new windscreen dock to within 10 working days. Customers that have any further queries, problems or concerns are advised to contact the TomTom customer support department.
