Do you VET buyers?

Having had a bad experience with a "serial negative feedback" buyer, Im wondering wether anyone else "VETS" or checks out a potential buyer. By that I mean looks at what they have bought recently (is it in line with the kind of thing they are buying from you), feedback they have been given, as well as feedback they have left for others?

Hi, yes I always look at the buyer!! I think mainly to see where they come from to prepare myself for quoting if they hadn't emailed me first for overseas and if I see a problem then I can do something about it before its too late! but sometimes you can't do that cos they mostly bid at the last minute.

I always have a look at their feedback and also the types of thing they have bought/sold in the past.0

Yep i most certainly check out the buyer.
What have they been buying, whats the feedback like etc. If its a high cost item i also try and confirm the postal address just to make sure i know where to go if things go pear shape.Watch out, you never know who is about.0 -
seeing as I try to have no more than 2 or 3 items ending a day, its easier to VET, whereas if you are a bulk seller it becomes harder to keep tabs on everyone."See you on the Other Side"0
