Hi all,
..I have just found out that since coming out of administration last year, our company has not been paying NI money over.
We may now be going back into administration / closure. Will this "non payment" effeect out job seekers allowance?
Thanks for any reply...

In future years it will. It depends which tax year the DSS uses to calculate the benefit entitlement.
The individuals affected will probably get a letter from the Revenue and Customs telling you of the shortfall and giving you the option to pay voluntary contributions. Or you may wish to make a direct enquiry to them.0 -
DWP is the Department of Work and Pensions they are the ones paying JSA. DSS no longer exists and hasn't for many years. In future years it will. It depends which tax year the DSS uses to calculate the benefit entitlement.
It won't affect your entitlement to benefits but proving the payments should have been made will require letter writing and some proof in the form of your payslips.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
