Wireless question

We currently have a wireless network at home for 2 laptops and 2 PCs. One PC is connected to a Netgear router and the broadband modem and the other is connected to a Netgear wireless USB adapter. We would like to swap the PCs over so that the one which is upstairs and connected to the router is downstairs and connected to the adapter etc.

Is it as simple as just swapping the PCs over and reconnecting the adapter and router to the alternative PC or is there more to it?

The usb adapter will need a driver for it to work. You may also need to enter the WEP/WPA key into the settings. Other than that, it is easy.
