Anyone else had very dry skin whilst breastfeeding?

Since I started breastfeeding I have had incredibly dry skin, especially on my hands and face. Even though I am using shea butter, it is not really making much difference. I am so uncomfortable. Did anyone else experience this? What did you do?

What about your intake of essential fatty acids? Are you eating enough fish, eggs, avocados? How about a fish oil supplement? And, of course, plenty of water to drink.

At this stage, the quality nutrients you ingest go to the breast milk first, to create the best possible food for your baby. If you're not getting enough nutrients, your own body (skin and hair first) will suffer...
