Are scottish power required to write to us following their price increases? (under Standard License Condition 23), anyone had one yet or confirmation scottissh power do actually need to send one out?

(no loophole about putting variable prices in the contract to avoid price rises being a contract variation?)

I received a letter/postcard from Scottish Power to let me no that prices were infact increasing, although, as I signed up to their capped price until 2012 I would not be affected :)

I was wondering the same thing. I switched to Online Saver 10 about a month before they announced the price rises. I've been all over the website looking for the new unit price but it must be pretty well hidden as I couldn't find it anywhere. Will have to wait for my next (first) bill as it is supposed to be listed on there.

well I suppose the post has clogged things up a little of late (particularly in scotland).... might give it another week then hit them with a written note along the lines of 'have become aware via the internet of price rises on xx date, not having received a SLC 23 notification from yourselves please take this letter as notice that.... yadda yadda yadda
