Vauxhall Tigra/Convertibles

I have a Tigra convertible, not having that much trouble getting in to it BUT getting the window to go back up into the seal usually takes 2 or 3 goes. Also I know its not really feasible now but its good practice to lower & raise the roof every couple of weeks to stop any of the motors seizing up
Got to love the heated seats though ;-)Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
When you buy an impractical summer biased car you just have to take the rough with the smooth im afraid.
De-icer doesn't do much good for paint or fabric roof material by the way. But the problem you have is once you start wetting parts of the car with de-icer you'll be stuck doing it until the cold goes and the car has chance to dry off.
Also if you have the heater on flat out inside, the humidity difference this causes will give you frozen door seals and interior ice. Always good (on any car) to leave the door open for a while after the journey AND dry the door seals off with a dry cloth before you close the door.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
