Not sure whether this is the right place for this one, but anyway ;-
Being about to move house, I have discovered going through our paperwork that over a period of 18 months when my husband had various temporary jobs, that his NI number is incorrect on every payslip.
Two of the digits have been transposed on each one even though the payslips are all with different companies and for different lengths of time.
Presumably this means he has unknowingly being paying into someone else's state pension!!
Can I rectify this somehow and transfer the correct details to his NI number - it is well over 10 years ago?
Hope someone can help,
Thanks
