Hi,
I am looking to change my dog to CSJ after reading about it on here, but have a few questions 1st which i'd appreciate if anyone can answer.
1. Portion size - I cant see it mentioned on the site, he is an english springer spaniel.
2. Has anyone tried their cat food, my male cat is very fussy & will only eat whiskas. Everytime we have tried other foods, he has gone on strike.
Thanks

portion sizes are written on the bags - it really depends on the weight of the dog and which of the csj feeds it is. Our collie sheepdogs get through approx 2 bags a month between 3 of them - we feed super duper and natural champ. They eat about 300-350g a day but we sometimes add meat or eggs as well.
The cat food seems tasty, ours LOVES it, but she doesn't get the option to be fussy! it is quite small kibbles though and they spill out of the bowl quite easily and go everywhere...0 -
Ceri at CSJ is very helpful, just ring her.
My 11yrs old GSD has about 1pt a day of lamb n rice, as she doesnt race around these days.
That's prob less than recommended on the bag but works for us.0 -
My two Patterdale x JRT have been having CJS Natural Champ for a few weeks now and it seems to suit them well and they love it. According to the feeding guide on the bag, a medium size dog weighing 10-25 kg should be fed 150-260g per day, although I think the amount varies depending on which type of food it is.
Either go to the CJS site, click on 'Support' and then on 'Contacting CJS', from there you can fill in an Enquiry form and request some free samples or you can ring Ceri who will advise you.0
