Acer widescreen monitor upgrade/downgrade ?

Hi there,

I bought an Acer P225HQBD from Argos Clearances but it soon developed a fault which DJ Henry weren't able to fix so Acer have replaced the monitor with a H223HQ - an obvious difference is a built in audio.

I don't know what to look for really, so any thoughts on if they have replaced like with like much appreciated.

I notice on Acer's website that the new one (H223HQ) has a contrast ration of 20000:1 compared to 50000:1 on the old one.

your new screen (the H223HQ) is almost the same but it has a contrast ratio (as opposed to no info on the P225HQ) and better response time (2ms is as fast as they get), so it's an upgrade.

Apart from the fact it's made by Acer :P (If I'm honest, I'm not surprised it broke, that's what Acer products do best).
