TOM TOM Traffic Data Costs

I've got a TomTom Go 300 and I'm thinking of subscribing to TomTom traffic. I have a compatible phone but need to switch Sim Cards as I'm with O2 Pay as you go which is not compatable with TomTom (is that right???) so I need to decide which is the cheapest Sim - whether to go for a capped tarriff - T mobile £1 a day or to use a tarriff like Orange £4 / MB. Can someone tell me the likely traffic cost from say Cardiff to Bighton and then I can decide which Sim to buy.
Money is not the root of all evil - Money-wasting is!;)
