Applying for more then one credit card in one day.

in Credit cards
A couple of days ago I applyed for my first credit card and was accepted for a nationwide gold card, that same day I applyed for a Tesco & santendar Which I also got accepted for. But today I applyed for a virgin card and it told me I will hear in 7-10days. Have I applyed for too many Cards in a short space of time?
The reason for all the cards is to shift some of my wifes debit on to 0%

Four credit searches within a month is very excessive and this could very well cause lenders to decline you. Lenders view it as desperation and will wonder why someone needs so much credit within a short time frame.
There's no telling what Virgin's decision will be but it's probably best you stop applying for credit otherwise it will further damage your credit history. We’ve had to remove your signature. No don't be silly try Amex now then a few more of the high street lenders.
You never know you might get 10 cards if your lucky:)0 -
If you had done them all on the same day before your record got properly updated with searches you probably would have got most the cards but it seems now that your records updated its going to manual authorisation where they will look and try and figure out why your applying for so many cards at the same time.0
