Golf Booking in Tunisia - legitimate sites?

Hi all.
I'm starting another thread, third time, but hopefully this one won't get removed! I think my previous posts were not allowed as I had a URL in the title, although this can't be confirmed as the admin just delete and don't notify.
Basically I'm looking for information from others on the site I used or alternatives which they have used to book golf times abroad, specifically Tunisia.
We tried to book a few courses through the site "bookyourgolf.net" which looks legitimate. However, after completing the purchasing process on their site we were emailed and the password for the credit card was requested.
Obviously this caused me to worry and after a few requests for the password I decided it was safest to cancel my card. Since then we have been contacted and told that for bookings in Tunisia the credit card password is required as standard practise, this may be true but I still worry and don't want to give it out.
Anyway, advice on this site or recommendations of others would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I think you may find that this thread will be removed as you seem intent on naming the website in your previous threads,
you have already said that you think it is dodgy and will not use it so why name againIMOJACAR

I didn't realise that you were not allowed to name sites. I'm simply looking for other peoples feedback on this site if they have used it or alternatives.
Either way I thought naming the site would allow others a search engine hit if they are looking for reviews or information on it, without naming the site people wont be informed of my experience.0 -
Just read your comments, have myself used this site, booked hotel and car hire in spain through them - car hire was cheaper than I could find elsewhere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.0

Thanks for the comment but one time posters aren't top on my trust list.
EDIT: actually thinking about this I'm suspicious that the Mally post is from the company rep whos post got my thread deleted yesterday!0 -
uint32, who are you travelling to tunisia with (which company, or have you not booked yet).
one company i would reccommend is Just Sunshine. they are owned by the el mouradi group of hotels, so soom good quality hotels, and the odd good value 3* too. the group also own the largest ground handling company in tunisia, so whoever you go with, chances are they will also have some involvement in your holiday.
their london office can handle reservations and will also probably be able to advise all about golf, as i know it's something they are expanding on. One of their main reps over there - Stroma - is ex panorama who was once the main operator to Tunisia, until TC took them over.
not sure if this will stay on here, but their number is 0844 756 0056. they are a great set of guys in the office, and let them know that David from halifax who was on the 15/10 fam trip reccomended them.
regards

Thanks for that Dave.
It's actually my parents who have booked and I'm now trying to finalise the details. Parents and the internet don't mix!
They have booked the fights and accommodation through Thomas Cook, I think, but TC won't assist them in booking golf tee times. Someone posted in my earlier thread stating that it's unlikely golf times will require booking but they think otherwise.
I've actually found a UK based company which does golfing holidays to Tunisia. They offer to book golf times for a small admin fee if your holiday isn't with them so I will ask my parents to give them a call.0 -
no worries uint32, hope you all have a great time.
but if you are thinking of going again, have a look at Just Sunshine. They can offer so much more than most of the major tour operators to tunisia, as they are practically owned by the hotel group over there.
