Hi everyone i keep getting this stock trade spam, its a differant email address every time and hasnt got a unsubscribe button.
Has anyone else been getting these ? i get around 12 a day the only way i can think of getting rid of it is by changing email address .

Any Help on this matter would be great Thank you !

If it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anyway

Don't think it would make much difference. I get them to the domain I own at lots of different speculative addresses. Luckily Outlook identifies almost all of them as spam anyway. But at least I have the option of blocking those addresses and keep my legitimate ones free (which don't get any spam)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Pressing unsubscribe buttons is probably the best way to ensure you get more Spam as it proves that your address is valid & hence saleable.and hasnt got a unsubscribe button.
As for your problem, try mailwasher0 -
Got fed up of spam to our domain address so installed Popfile:

I have also been getting these spam e-mails, and have noticed recently that they have been increasing. This is despite having Norton Anit-Virus software on my computer. Superscaper what do you mean when you say "Luckily Outlook identifies almost all of them as spam". Can I do something with Outlook to ensure that I stop getting these e-mails. I am very much a novice when it comes to computers, and all this spam is a PAIN.0

Norton is not an anti-spam software.clyde_valley wrote:I have also been getting these spam e-mails, and have noticed recently that they have been increasing. Outlook requires you to setup / configure rules (Tools > Rules Wizard) and works on you identifying specific values, i.e. to specific mail addresses, where the from address is not in your contacts folder, etc, etc. You then select the action you want to be taken, i.e. permanently delete, etc.
If you are suffering from spam the only real way of dealing with it is to install aome spam software (as a previous poster mentioned mailwasher, etc - or Popfile).

This is a link that explains what it is

The spammers have harvested the emails from email lists and websites not through the usual way of spyware and there is no way of stopping it as explained in the link aboveIf it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anywaySarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them

You can let the ISP know about the spam problem on their system and help them to stop it in the future. Make sure to include a copy of the spam, along with the full e-mail header. At the top of the message, state that you're complaining about being spammed.0
