in Credit cards
I'm just wondering, does withdrawing cash from an ATM count as a "Purchase" on a 0% on purchases card. I live with my parents and I'm in a bit of a money fiasco at the moment, I need to give them some cash, while possibly paying off the last of my overdraft. I'm thinking of applying to get a card.
I've tried to apply for the tesco credit card but have been refused. I've checked my credit report on Experian and its turned out good, only my bank overdraft has an outstanding balance.
I'd appreciate any advice on my situation.

No withdrawing cash is never a purchase, its a cash withdrawal.
How much do you need? if you were able to get a card that allowed money transfers you could transfer money into your bank account (MBNA stable cards have the facility though the transfers attract a 4% fee).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks for replying quickly!
I'd probably need about £400 or so, just to clear my overdraft and pay off my parents. :P After that, I'd just hide the card and never use it again.0 -
Well these are the cards that allow transfers to your current account http://www.stoozing.com/sbt.php although they are usually only obtainable by people with fairly spotless credit histories and good financial stability.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
