Non receipt of vouchers

I used moneysavingexpert site to get a quote and indeed a switch to a new energy provider (EON) I used the link on YOUR site to get to SIMPLYSWITCH and part of the deal was 35.00 in vouchers for use in either Amazon or John Lewis.

As of yet I have not received any vouchers, so I telephoned the company directly and have been told that I do not qualify even though when I spoke on the telephone at the outset I was told I do.

I have tried to complain and asked to speak to a superior, was told he is in a meeting, but was told in any case "MY SYSTEM SAYS YOU DON’T QUALIFY SO NO POINT IN SPEAKING TO HIM."

I requested the superiors name and was told it was a Mr Brundrett, I then asked for his bosses name and was told "I don’t know that."
I then requested the Managing Directors name, was told that she was not allowed to give that out. I pointed out that this was a legal requirement and eventually was told its a Mr Brundrett.

I have now been told that I need to write a letter, (not allowed to email?) to the complaints officer to try and claim my 35.00 vouchers.

I have to be honest that when using your site and its links I was under the illusion I would be dealing with companies that were straight forward and upfront in the way they do business.

I am therefore asking if there is anything you can do as your own site lured me in in the first place.

There have been numerous threads about issues receiving (or not!) the vouchers from that company.

This thread may help, particularly post#12 by MSE Archna. :)
