Paypal payment to wrong address

Hi
I sold an item on ebay at the weekend and received confirmation from paypal that I'd received the funds, and so despatched the item.
However I've looked a bit closer and realised that the bit before the @ sign is not my usual paypal address (as I have my own domain name I receive everything sent to that domain, whatever precedes the @).
I'm not sure how this happened, maybe I just set up the auction with the wrong paypal address - I presume it wasn't something malicious on the senders part.
The trouble is that to claim the funds the email says I have to set up a paypal account in the new name, which I don't really want to do. Is there any way of forwarding it to my proper paypal address, or can I set up my existing paypal account to accept incoming payments from the new address ?

Hi you should be able to add the 'wrong' email address to your existing Paypal account to receive the payment they sent you. Once its all come through you could then remove it from your Paypal email addresses.
Cheers
