Pipe clips

Hi,
Ripped the old kitchen out at the house we are renovating and there are a few pipes I would like to clip.
Now as the pipes are already in place is there anything like this that screw to the sides http://www.screwfix.com/prods/15460/Plumbing/Copper-Tube-Accessories/Contract-Pipe-Clip-22mm-Pack-of-100
I can't screw through the middle as the pipe would be in the way.
I hope this makes some sense!!
Also these pipes are going to be boxed in. Whats the best type of wood to use so I don't get any issues with it rotting.
Cheers Dave

Cheap ply!0 -
Hi,
I know them as side fix clips , but they seem to be called 'end fixing' flip top clips.
Try a local merchant first .

All suggestions are perfect. Thankyou :-)0

If the pipe is so rigid that it will not move then it probably does not need clipping. I have found that it is very rare that you cannot spring a pipe sideways enough to get the single screw clip into place. But, as has been suggested, you need saddle clips.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Thanks just don't want to risk breaking anything my moving the pipes about too much.0

Agree - use copper saddles. The link CH gave you also does saddles in plastic. But I'd just go to your local merchant to get them.
