Knackered my headphones last night so went looking for a decent pair on Amazon and found some Sennheisers for just over £30.

My 2 year Kaspersky licence runs out in a month so I checked out their price and they are offering a 3 user 1 Year subs KIS2011 package for £23 (Reduced from £50 - yeah right) BUT if you order £30 of Amazon stuff (not traders) then you can get it for half price - Paid £11.49.

Good deal for this time of year if you don't bank at Barclays - and this is a 3 user jobbie. - £7.50 for 1 user

  • New laptop, downloaded Avast OK, Barclays gives me Kaspersky free. Can I have both at the same time or will they interfere with each other?

    Yes. Run only one AV.

Rather than buying anything additional, just hunt through the Amazon* entries for Kaspersky Internet Security, and pick the cheapest that matches your requirements (1 user, 3 users, whatever) regardless of the date (2009, 2010, 2011). When you've installed it, you can simply upgrade to the latest version (11.0.2.556) via their website download without charge, regardless of the version you installed originally.

*other fine antivirus software vendors are available

    NOD32 is much better.

    Kaspersky is BLOAT ware.

For NOD http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dsoftware&field-keywords=NOD32 and keep an eye on it as the prices fluctuate; I was able to pick up NOD ESS 4 3 user 1 year pack for £23 (now £39.99) but other options can be cheaper.

So the OP talks about a method of getting Kaspersky cheap, and you suggest that what he wants is rubbish and that he should use a completely different product? Didn't the teachers at school tell you that in examinations you should always answer the question?
