Motorway motels in France?....

Can anyone recommend a chain of hotels/motels in france that are ok for a nights stop-over. We are travelling to the French Alps next feb and want to stop half way. We have stayed in a Formula One motel before, but it was rather basic. Is there anything a bit better, that is still good value?
Thanks
Thanks
`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.

We've stayed in a comfort Inn and in Campanile hotels in the past which are fine for overnight stops. A step up from Formule 1 but still won't break the bank.0

Your best bet is to look on https://www.accorhotels.com - they're a chain which own hundreds of hotels in France under different brand names and price ranges. Formula 1 is their cheapest brand, but for a few extra Euros a night you could try their Etap Hotels which we really love - they're basic but have en-suite facilities (unlike Formula 1) and they're clean and modern. Or you could go another step up the ladder and use their Ibis Hotels which are still good value.0

I can also recommend etap basic but very clean.0

hi
we have been to france a few times and stayed in various 'cheap' accommodation when travelling. We liked the hotel b and b's
https://www.hotel-bb.com.
they are basically a step up from formule 1 they are en suite and sleep up to four adults. its a chain and in the similar places that the formule 1's are ie industrial estates.
will keep tryiing to find website! otherwise accor hotels are quite nice a bit more expensive such as etap or ibis but as alijolly said they won't break the bank! HTHNew Zealand

Etap still seemed pretty basic to me when we stayed in one. If you do use one my advice is don't pay for the breakfast - it's rubbish. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms which came as a bit of a surprise to me (too many travelodge stays!). If you have children under twelve they don't count to the room accupancy. If you book online don't include them as you can't take them off the booking when you get there.0

Agree with previous correspondents. We regularly stay at Hotel BB, Villages, Premiere, Quick Palace.
Do you have children? young children love Hotel BB 4 bedded rooms with the mezanines - 2 single beds upstairs.
None of these have Tea/Coffee facilities as they are all a bit basic, but we arrive late and leave early (more time on the slopes!)0
