Indian Visa Question

I'm in the process of applying for a visa for a holiday to India early next year. The application form states that a photo of size 50mm x 50mm is required; unfortunatley this is isn't a standard passport photo size.

Every country has their own size specification for Visa photos, there is no standard size as such. Some countries also require negatives, particular color resolutions and paper qualities. You will find some studios providing you complete solutions for visa photography to most of the countries. If you are not able to find such a studio, just take a print of a photo which is larger than the prescribed size of 50 * 50 mm and just cut it out with scissors carefully.
Hope this helps you to overcome your problem. You may also consider going for a Travel Insurance if you are going to India. Do not hesitate to ask me if you need some other help regarding travel to India, I have been there a number of times for holiday and business trips.Helping others is our responsibility, but thanking others is a virtue. Don't you just love the Indian Visa application process?
As suggested above use scissors from a larger photo and MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE FORM MATCHES YOUR PASSPORT.
Also on a tourist visa you can't usually go back for two months if you leave.0 -
I would be suprised if a proper camera shop that does passport photos could not do all the differant size photos before I retired last year we did about 15 sizes at a better price than the booths0

Is a great site for free passport photo sizing and editing for many countries. I took my own Photo and printed out at home for the UK - no problems.
India is one of the listed sizes.0
