  • Hi you can get the discs at any supermarket, they can be pricey. I have a Krups, I love it, have it as my treat every day. They are £3.50 for 8 drinks, but then you would pay that per drink at Star Bucks!

I used to has a Senseo and bought a plastic cartridge that you put your own coffee in to replace the coffee bag. I think I got it on ebay, but this was a few years back. It was like this one http://www.singleservecoffee.com/archives/000527.php

as previous poster advises any supermarket OR you can buy direct from tassimo online,

the hot chocolate is to die for, my treat with cream on top.,

all of the coffee's are fab and the twinings breakfast tea is lovely also,

good luck with it but I LOVE mine. Got it because it does tea/coffee/cappuccino/latte/chocolate/herbal teas,

didnt just want to be stuck with a coffee maker. and excellent price BTW. bargaino.

  • I have both the tassimo and the senseo and have to say the tassimo is used less, simply because of the cost of the pods.

My senseo however i use daily, with coffee, tea (round tea bags work great!) and my cappuccino's ( these are from coffeepod.co.uk as you cant get them here in the uk yet, they have great deals on them and coffee works out at about £1.60, 18 pods- £2 , 36pods) Coffee pods are also sold by lidl's at £1.50 for 18. I also bought the larger water tank to go on the back!

    Hope that helps,
    :)

Mines is a Bosch Tassimo and just love it. Can often get the t-discs on offer in Sainsbury's and Asda. Usually get through money off coupons too. :T

I even use it for just hot water for my cuppa soups too!
The tea can be a little stronger when its used in the senseo.
You can also buy a "coffeeduck" where you put your own ground coffee in it, its similar to one of the previous postings.

sorry forgot to say the senseo is down to £29.99 just now at argos!

'We use a Senseo and have done for many years, you can buy refillable pods but this fit the old rounded machines, you may have to search for a refillable pod for the square machine.
Coffee pods available readily in supermarkets and you might want to add this site to your favourites as they have great offers from time to time and even with postage a bulk box works out a lot cheaper than the shops, plus they have many various coffee's, tea's etc.
