    most illegal rats like turkojan.. poison ivy.. etc are made with features to bypass the windows firewall..

    all it takes then is a file to have been encrypted so its undectable by your anti virus and your fully exposed for a while...

    3 things have always ensured on our pcs are.

    The reason I use it on my XP machine is that I read somewhere that Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5 uses the same code as WinRoute which is or was used to protect corporate networks.

    Have times moved on and has it now been proved that it's full of holes?

    It doesn't work with Vista or Win7!

    The last report I read about it said it was full of holes (the reports now obsolete, but each time they checked, it was no better)
