switching electricity suppliers

i was wondering if anybody has their electricity supplied by e.on?
i am currently a scottish power customer but i'm thinking of switching as i feel i am being charged way too much for my electricity.
I have been told that e.on are alot cheaper than scottish power and that i would be better off switching to them but i am unsure. i don't want to "jump out of the frying pan & in to the fire", and would greatly appreciate any feedback regarding this company.

I think EDF may be even cheaper than E-on. You can always visit a comparison site and see what the situation is for your postcode and your likely useage. (Such as uswitch.com or energyhelpline.com)

Then before clicking on the links on uswitch or energyhelpline clear your cookies go onto Quidco. EDF's currently paying £80 for a dual fuel switch.

No one company is best all the time.

If you switched to E.On FixOnline 8 back in May, you would be smirking now.

Currently, EDF [EMAIL="S@ver"]S@ver[/EMAIL] 7 is hard to beat. £100 Welcome Bonus just been extended to end of December. £80 cashback through Quidco.

I have just switched to EDF taking advantage of the £170pa saving compared to my current suppiier , £100 bonus from EDF to join them, and £80 via quidco, I doubt that can be beaten currently!!

Only thign they quote 1 to 2 months to switch,

Its been a week since I switch and nothing tracking in my quidco account as yet !!

Switching normally takes 4-5 weeks, that's standard.
You are not alone with the Quidco tracking issue.

[FONT=&quot]That’s a good decision you have taken, changing your electricity supplier is not a big deal. Electricity rates are really going high in the recent time. Internet is the best place to look out for good electricity suppliers, you will get lot of options to choose from, but make sure that you select a good one.

[FONT=&quot]I too agree with you that changing the energy supplier is one of the best options to save money from our energy bill. There are other simple things which can be done to reduce the energy bills. I think consulting an expert would give you a clear picture. [/FONT]
